Job Summary

Promotes and sells ZOLL Cardiac Science products throughout a specific territory.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for the attainment of territory sales goals as well as any other strategic and tactical sales objectives that may be initiated
  • Travels extensively throughout assigned territory to call regularly on prospective and current customers to solicit orders
  • Identifies and profiles key accounts for target customers
  • Generating new business in the following vertical market segments within the territory to include, but is not limited to: Police, Fire, EMS, Corporations, Schools, Health Clubs, Municipal, Dental, etc.
  • Support local and national distributors in their efforts to market and sell Cardiac Science AED products and services
  • Generate and conduct effective technical sales presentations
  • Understand company products and medical/legal terminology associated with purchase orders, bids and quotations and communicate effectively with customers and/or sales staff
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of competitive products and product features and apply this knowledge in selling efforts
  • Assist/provide in-service and implementation of Cardiac Science products
  • Responsible for submitting purchase orders and other such sales agreements in the manner prescribed by the company
  • Work with customer sales support and service, credit, and technical service departments to ensure efficient service to customers and proper application of CSC order and credit policies
  • Prepares weekly reports on travel schedule and keeps updated expense account information


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent combination of education/training and experience) required
  • Previous experience using Salesforce.com or another CRM software
    required and
  • Previous business-to-business sales experience in the capital equipment industry (i.e., Canon, Xerox, ADP, etc.)
    required and
  • 3+ years directly related experience
    required


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated successful sales record in medical device sales
  • Solid understanding of the mechanics and nuances of working with distributors
  • Proven ability to create strong professional relationships
