Your Role as a COTA

• Assist Occupational Therapists with implementing individualized care plans

• Support residents in daily living activities and rehabilitation exercises

• Document therapy sessions and progress in compliance with state and facility guidelines

• Encourage residents to reach their highest level of independence

• Collaborate with the rehab team, nursing staff, and families to promote successful outcomes
