CDL-A Tractor Trailer Driver Mentor | Galveston, TX

We're looking for Class A CDL drivers interested in steady OTR work with the flexibility to remain a solo driver or earn additional compensation as a Driver Mentor.

Experienced drivers start at $0.45–$0.55 CPM based on experience, with weekly pay, no-touch freight, and consistent mileage opportunities.

What Solo Drivers Can Expect

Solo drivers generally spend 10–14 days on the road with home time between runs.

The position includes:

• $0.45–$0.55 CPM based on experience
• No-touch freight
• Consistent OTR miles
• Weekly pay
• Modern equipment
• Additional performance incentives may be available

Optional Mentor Program

Want to earn more while helping a new driver gain experience? Qualified drivers can participate in our Driver Mentor program.

Mentor assignments typically last approximately 11 days. While actively training a student, mentors may qualify for:

• $0.45–$0.55 CPM base rate
• Additional $0.10 CPM mentor pay
• Up to $0.10 CPM productivity pay
• Additional mileage and performance bonuses
• Priority mileage opportunities

Mentors aren't required to take students back-to-back. Drivers may take home time or return to solo operation between training assignments.

New to the Industry?

New Class A CDL holders are also encouraged to apply.

Drivers who haven't yet accumulated three months of qualifying experience can complete initial and OTR training with an experienced mentor. New drivers earn $0.35 CPM while training and building their first three months of experience.

After reaching three months of qualifying experience, drivers may advance into the experienced pay range of $0.45–$0.55 CPM, based on applicable experience and qualifications.

Basic Qualifications

A valid Class A CDL is required. Experienced Solo and Mentor applicants must have at least 3 months of recent, verifiable tractor-trailer experience.

Applicants must also be at least 21 years old, meet applicable DOT and company qualification standards, and be authorized to work in the United States.
