We are seeking veterinary nurses with 3+ years’ experience to join our fun loving and supportive team, on a casual basis.

Work within our well equipped, clean and extremely organised purpose built clinic. We have all the bells and whistles, as well as separate dog and cat wards, an isolation ward and direct access for clients who prefer not to enter through the retail entry.

We have experienced vets on the floor, who are willing to help and support their nursing team. The workflow is excellent, even in busier times, with genuine respect and 'team effort' at the foundation.

The role requires that you:

  • Are looking for casual work

  • Are available to start ASAP

  • Are confident with being sole charge (working along side a vet)

  • Build relationships and deliver excellent customer service. We're talking, doting over our clients fur babies as if they were your own.

  • Be confident in monitoring anaesthesia

  • Embrace professional development

  • Contribute to our positive team culture, and 'team player vibe'

  • Hold a relevant Veterinary nursing qualification

What you can expect:

  • A clean and well maintained clinic, with everything you need to be the best nurse you can be

  • A diverse and experienced team of veterinary professionals to support you

  • Really lovely clientele. Many of our clients know us by name, and will stop in off the street just to say hello

  • Ability to contribute positively to various local animal rescue groups, who utilise our clinic for veterinary care

  • Remuneration package with regular reviews

  • No after hours, Sundays or Public Holidays

  • Professional development resources

  • Opportunity for internal career advancement

Some of the Perks

  • Aside from the amazing culture, supportive team and tidy clinic...

  • You're spoilt for choice on local lunch spots, and can even complete your grocery shop after work with Aldi right next door

  • Did we mention our clients are so lovely, and genuinely appreciate us going the extra mile

  • Paid parental leave

  • Significant team member, family & pet discounts across Petstock Group & Woolworth’s reward programs

  • Access to the Petstock Group’s Employee Assistance Program (health & wellbeing support)
