ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:
In this rewarding opportunity you will join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) team as an Occupational Therapist in our Allied health department at our East Melbourne campus.

This role will be a casual position, working across weekdays &/or weekends and will be pivotal in supporting our highly functioning allied health team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly & supportive occupational therapy department working with a caseload of mostly rehabilitation patients with primarily orthopaedic, oncology and general medical conditions.
You will bring your passion to the role where you will work with patients to achieve their desired goals & maximise their functional independence

ABOUT YOU:
As an Occupational Therapist, you are skilled at clinical reasoning and caseload management with some previous experience and the ability to ensure the delivery of an effective patient-centred, goal orientated treatment. 

Your skills will include:

  • Effective time management & excellent communication
  • Being committed to providing an innovative high quality service to your patients
  • Flexible & efficient team player
  • Being adaptable to a variety of settings, completing individual assessments and group interventions
  • Having the ability to identify clinical risk and implement strategies to minimise risk
