Cashier

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to manage cash transactions accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will handle customer payments, maintain daily cash records, reconcile cash balances, and provide excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Requirements

• Receive cash, credit/debit card, and other payment methods from customers.
• Issue receipts, invoices, and payment confirmations.
• Maintain accurate records of all cash transactions.
• Reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Deposit cash collections as per company procedures.
• Prepare daily cash reports and submit them to the Finance Department.
• Handle refunds, exchanges, and payment discrepancies in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure the cash counter is organized and secure at all times.
• Assist customers with payment-related queries in a professional manner.
• Coordinate with the Finance and Accounts team regarding daily collections.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Cashier, preferably in retail, manufacturing, or a commercial organization.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Honest, trustworthy, and well-organized.

Preferred

• Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Basic English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
