Carrier Relations Specialist - Voice

As a Carrier Relations Specialist (Voice), you will play a key role in expanding and strengthening our international voice network through strategic partnerships with carriers, mobile operators, and voice aggregators across the region.

You will be responsible for driving voice coverage expansion, optimizing route quality and commercial performance, and supporting the growth of both enterprise and wholesale voice services. Working closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, Routing, Operations, Pricing, and Compliance, you will help deliver scalable, reliable, and competitive voice solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage strategic relationships with telecom carriers, mobile operators, and voice aggregators across regional and international markets.

• Expand DID number coverage and A–Z voice route availability to support enterprise and wholesale voice growth requirements.

• Lead commercial negotiations and bilateral partnership agreements to optimize margins and establish long-term strategic partnerships.

• Stay up to date with telecommunications regulations, numbering policies, and compliance requirements across the region to identify market opportunities and support business growth.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver competitive, scalable, and high-quality voice solutions.

• Work with Compliance teams to support supplier and customer onboarding processes, ensuring adherence to regulatory and KYC requirements.

• Monitor market developments, carrier capabilities, and industry trends to maintain a strong competitive position.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong relevant experience in Carrier Relations, Procurement, Sales, Business Development, or a related role within the telecommunications industry.

• Strong understanding of international voice markets and DID voice number services is strongly preferred, but not required.

• Existing relationships and networks with mobile operators, local aggregators, or wholesale voice carriers will be an advantage.

• Proven track record in negotiating commercial agreements and managing strategic supplier or carrier partnerships.

• Commercially driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent attention to detail.

• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.

• Resourceful, self-driven, and adaptable, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural, and global environment.
