Car Wash Attendant (Part Time, Noon to 6pm)

SUMMARY

In this position, you will wash each customer’s car ranging from a quick external wash to a full detailing. While you do not need to have formal training, we do prefer applicants with experience, preferably with a car dealership. You must have strong physical stamina and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Must have a clean driving record going back 3 years to meet insurability standards. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Use soap and sponges to clean the exterior of the car
• Use a vacuum and upholstery cleaner to detail the interior of the vehicle
• Clean up your washing area at the end of your shift 
• General cleanliness of exterior lot to include trash, snow removal, sweeping, etc.
• Sets a good example by maintaining a healthy work demeanor and cooperating with other managers and fellow employees in a positive spirit of teamwork. Represents Puklich Chevrolet positively when out in the community.

• EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

No prior experience or training. Less than high school education acceptable. On the job training provided.

• LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one or small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
