CAPA Manager

Lead a high-performing team of CAPA Facilitators and shape the future of quality by driving the global CAPA system, AI-enabled process innovation, and quality management system integration across Philips Image Guided Therapy Systems.

Your role

  • Lead and continuously improve the end-to-end CAPA process, ensuring high-quality investigations and timely execution of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Drive the harmonization of global CAPA processes by integrating quality management systems across multiple sites, including Best and Pune.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of CAPA Facilitators while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Champion a strong quality culture by balancing regulatory compliance with business priorities and operational excellence.
  • Identify and implement AI-enabled solutions to enhance CAPA investigations, trend analysis, and process efficiency.
  • Monitor CAPA performance through metrics, reporting, and governance, supporting management reviews, audits, and regulatory inspections.

You're the right fit if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in CAPA and Quality Management Systems within the Medical Devices, Pharma, or Medical Nutrition industry.
  • Proven people leadership experience with a coaching leadership style, developing and empowering teams through effective delegation while leveraging strong CAPA and quality expertise to guide, support, and constructively challenge complex investigations.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and medical device regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820/QMSR, EU MDR 2017/745, ISO 14971).
  • Experience across multiple areas of Post-Market Surveillance (PMS) and Design Controls.
  • Hands-on experience leading or facilitating CAPA processes and applying structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, or Fault Tree Analysis.
  • Strong business and product knowledge, enabling you to effectively guide and challenge investigations.
  • Experience working in a multi-site, international environment.
  • Familiarity with, or a strong interest in, applying AI and digital technologies to quality processes.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Quality, Life Sciences, or another relevant discipline.

Compensation & benefits

Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is EUR 78,187.00 - EUR 130,312.00 gross per year. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations. 

This role is eligible for 3% short term incentive with your rewards linked to both individual performance and company results. We’ll share the full approach with you during the interview process, so you can make a clear, informed decision.
