Objective / Purpose of the Function:
Carry out the calibration, maintenance and repair of the equipment used for the manufacture of high voltage sources in Spellman de México, as well as the updating and calibration programming of the equipment in the CMMS: Computerized Maintenance Management System, in addition to the sending of the itself to calibrate/repair externally and other activities necessary to keep the equipment in good operating conditions, always complying with Quality standards in each of its activities.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Carry out calibrations of Temperature measurement equipment, for mechanical, electrical and dimensional assembly.
- Comply with the dates established for equipment calibrations.
- Management of the CMMS Asset Inventory System.
- Add equipment, generate, create and schedule calibration orders in the CMMS Asset Inventory System or equivalent.
- Maintain updated CMMS Asset Inventory System.
- Maintain Calibration Reports in the document retention drive.
- Provide technical support on electronic equipment.
- Send electronic equipment to be calibrated externally.
- Monitor material in stock (Spare parts).
- Generate purchase orders for parts and equipment (Mexican/American requisitions).
- Comply with the Health, Safety and Environment Policy, following the procedures and work instructions applicable to his/her activities for the participation in the established Objectives and Goals.
Competences / abilities:
Range/Level: (1-Basic, 2-Intermediate, 3- Advanced, 4- Expert)
· Electronic Engineering or minimum experience of 2 years in a similar position.
· Knowledge of Calibration of measuring equipment.
· Repair of measurement equipment.
· Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office.
· Interpretation of electronic diagrams and manuals of measuring equipment.
· Basic English.
· Knowledge and understanding in Environmental & Quality Management Systems in their current versions (e.g. ISO 14001,9001).
