Job description
Position Summary:
Responsible for logging Title 31 compliance. Safeguard company assets. Provide guest service to external and internal guests. Accurately handles guest exchanges for chips/cash equivalents for cash, cash checks within established procedures and all other associated cage functions. Assists guests in establishing credit lines, communicates with appropriate personnel concerning guest credit information. Handles pit fills/credits with ease, demonstrate full knowledge of kiosk bank with ease, and cooperates with Team Members within the department, as well as other departments.

Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
2. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Take appropriate measures to safeguard the Company's assets, including chips and cash.
4. Ensure that all assigned tasks are completed and balanced at the close of business.
5. Attend to guest needs and ensure overall guest satisfaction.
6. Work front line, fill bank, employee bank, kiosk bank and main bank as assigned.
7. Issue chips to the table and receive credit from the table accurately.
8. Create, issue and receive banks accurately to and from the team members from different departments.
9. Work with kiosk team as assigned to keep all kiosk and ATM updated and drop throughout the shift.
10. Assist in training new team members.
11. Transfer bagged coin from jet-sort machine to designated storage area.
12. Responsible for the final balancing of funds and assets assigned during a shift.
13. Efficiently operate all equipment, hardware and software used in job functions, including but not limited to jet scanner, coin sorting machines and 10 key calculators.
14. Tier 3 cashiers must demonstrate a mastery of, and perform the following tasks:
a. Front Line:
i. Conduct e-check, cash advance, chip, cash exchange, ticket redemption, kiosk
redemption, promotional payout, resort wallet deposit and withdrawals, fast funds
payment, and fee reimbursement transactions. Process and properly log all transactions in the applicable systems.
ii. Perform enrollment processes for E-check, Cashless Gaming, and Slot Credit transactions.
iii. Operate all cage currency counters.
iv. Follow all double/verification guidelines and thresholds including notification of surveillance when applicable.
b. Employee Bank:
i. Identify and complete all cage forms, accept and process tokes for all applicable
departments, receive and payout lost and found currency, issue slot banks, issue manual banks, and other functions that may be added.
ii. Perform transactions in Casino Insight, operate a jet sort coin machine and all cage currency counters.
iii. Maintain a minimum of 30 slot banks per shift and 30 poker banks when necessary.
iv. Follow all double/verification guidelines and thresholds including notification of surveillance when applicable.
c. Fill Bank:
i. Process table fills and credits in all applicable systems.
ii. Follow all double/verification guidelines and thresholds including notification of surveillance.
iii. Exhibit strong communication skills and ability to analyze pending fills/credit transactions.
iv. Fluency in counting chips and racks.
v. Complete chip rotation.
d. Kiosk Bank
i. Prepare and Issue drops using all applicable systems.
ii. Count bricks of cash.
iii. Use, analyze and manage cassette inventory for each denomination, amount, type and color.
iv. Complete excel sheets and account for drops and ARCA credits.
v. Knowledge of how to operate all cage currency counters and jet sort coin machines.
vi. Follow all double/verification guidelines and thresholds including notification of surveillance when applicable.
vii. Determine the number of cassettes needed to be made during a shift.
viii. Prepare a minimum of 60 cassettes per shift.
ix. Prepare rolled coins and use the coin roller machine.
e. Main Bank:
i. Perform all tasks of all banks within the cage department.
ii. Perform all applicable transactions in Casino Insight.
iii. Log all safekeeping/front money deposits and withdrawals in all applicable systems.
iv. Log all chip transactions (cash equivalents and Noncash value) accordingly
v. Follow all double/verification guidelines and thresholds including notification of surveillance when applicable.
vi. Process and log marker transactions in all applicable applications.
vii. Assist guests with establishing credit lines, and communicate with appropriate personnel concerning credit information.
viii. Perform remote/manual check and cash/coin deposits in all applicable systems.
ix. Perform check encoding.
x. Exhibit strong time management and prioritization skills.
xi. Balance safekeeping, credit/marker, and front money inventory with applicable reports.
xii. Count all the drops from soft count and pay all buys accurately.
xiii. Process poker and slot bank buys.
xiv. Fluently count and rotate chip inventory.
xv. Analyze, identify, store and scan all paperwork to applicable departments.
15. Multitask and assist all banks as needed.
