Main purpose of the Job/Role:

The Buyer Planner role with the supply planning function participates in all functions related to planning & procurement, beginning with analyzing of requirements, ordering, negotiating lead times, managing materials scheduling, purchase order maintenance and close-out in ERP system , vendor relationships (internal and external), and warranties.

Organizational Relationships:

Reports to: Material Planning Manager
Interacts with: All Viatris Cairo departments

Delegate: Buyer Planner Specialist / Material Planning Manager

Minimum Training & Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical or business discipline.
• 1-3 years Operational experience, preferred in Supply Chain/ Manufacturing.
• Essential knowledge of GMP & EHS related to site operations.
• Fluent English written and spoken.
• Very Good in Data Analysis / Professional in Microsoft Office.
• SAP / Rapid Response Knowledge is an advantage.
• Ability to negotiate, handle multi-stakeholders, and act independently. 
• Knowledge of continuous improvement is preferred.
