The Buyer / Management trainee for Cytiva is responsible for capturing all requirements for direct and indirect materials, create and communicate purchase orders and ensure supply at the right time.

This position is part of the Supply Chain team located in Hoegaarden, Belgium and will be an onsite position. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery. The aim of this position to grow in a Manager Buying role within 18 months.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Execute operational buying process
• Act as a backup for the Manager Planning & Buying
• Be responsible for KPI’s like supplier OTIF, supplier past due, Inventory
• Act as a subject matter expert in ERP (SAP) for the buying modules
• Use DBS to continuously improve the buying processes

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business Administration or other relevant education
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a supply chain/procurement position
• Business command of the Dutch and English language

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• ERP (SAP) knowledge
• NEVI certification or other procurement/supply chain certificates
• Advanced MS Office skills and experience in using reporting tools such as Qliksense or BI
