Business Process Re-engineering Consultant

Toppazzini and Lee Consulting (T&L) is a botique consulting firm located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. T&L specializes in process transformation and optimization in the public sector, health care, manufacturing and financial services. Although our focus is on the utilization of Lean Six Sigma techniques our firm assists clients in all aspects of their transformation from business concept to implementation.

We are establishing a pool of qualified candidates to fill level 1,2 and 3 Business Process Re-engineering consultants to be filled on as needed basis.  The business process re-engineer will work with our government clients to assess as-is processes, design to be processes and recommend business solutions to meet their most pressing needs.  Preference will be given to those with lean six sigma training and or certification at the green or black belt level. 

The business process re-engineer must have 5 plus years experience (with Canadian Federal Government Departments) in many of the following areas:

• Reviewing existing work processes and organizational structure;
• Analyzing business functional requirements to identify information, procedures and decision flows;
• Identifing candidate processes for re-design; prototyping potential solutions, providing trade-off information and suggest a recommended course of action;
• Identifing the modifications to the automated processes;
• Providing expert advice in defining new requirements and opportunities for applying efficient and effective solutions;
• Identifing and provide preliminary costs of potential options;
• Providing expert advice in developing and integrating process and information models between processes to eliminate information and process redundancies;

• Documenting workflows; and

• Using business, workflow and organizational modeling software tools.

The candidate should have a valid clearance of enhanced or greater issued by Public Works and Government Services Canada.
