Your mission

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Conduct comprehensive market and industry analysis for the beauty sector, including tracking emerging trends (e.g., clean beauty, sustainable packaging, digital beauty tools), market size, growth rates, and competitive landscape. Identify opportunities and threats to inform business strategy.​
  • Analyze consumer behavior data (e.g., purchase patterns, brand preferences, demographic trends, social media engagement) to understand customer needs, pain points, and loyalty drivers. Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize customer segmentation and target strategies.​
  • Monitor and evaluate competitor performance, including their product portfolios, pricing strategies, marketing campaigns, distribution channels, and market share. Provide insights into competitive advantages and areas for differentiation.​
  • Develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
  • Collaboration with internal teams to provide data-driven recommendations for product innovation, inventory management, pricing adjustments, and marketing campaigns.

TRAINING, WORK EXPERIENCE AND RELATED SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Consumer Market Insight‌, market research, consulting, or FMCG / beauty industry
  • Experience across quantitative and qualitative research techniques, including ad‑hoc studies, syndicated research, social listening, and market data analysis
  • Ability to synthesize insights across data sources, even when information is incomplete or imperfect
  • Good commercial mindset with clear understanding of how insights drive business decisions
  • Confident communication skills
  • Preferred background with both agency and in‑house experience, with strong deck building and presentation skills in both English and Chinese
