The Performance and Continuous Excellence (PACE) Intelligence team is the global Business Intelligence (BI) foundation of Google Cloud, designed to accelerate sales growth through AI agents, advanced reporting, and streamlined performance management. We are responsible for building the semantic source of truth for the business, delivering reporting capabilities that serve over 10,000 sellers across the cloud Go-to-Market (GTM) organization. By empowering GTM and Regional teams with scalable insights, a resilient data layer, and innovative Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), we enable our sellers to deeply understand their book of business and bring the very best of Google to their customers. Ultimately, our mission is to drive business success and execute our cloud strategy through an insights-led ecosystem of dashboards, agents, and expert analysts.

Responsibilities

  • Transform data into actionable insights by developing data models, data marts, and automating reporting processes to provide leadership with a clear picture of key business and process performance.
  • Develop, test, and maintain AI agents that integrate with existing data pipelines to scale the generation and delivery of actionable business intelligence.
  • Develop data infrastructure, which includes building SQL scripts, creating data pipelines, data warehouses, crafting investigative models, and designing user-friendly dashboards.
  • Lead assigned projects from conceptualization to delivery and ensure your data solutions offer relevant, high-quality data and insights to propel the growth of the business.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in data modeling, developing data sets, or creating data visualizations.
  • Experience writing SQL queries.
  • Experience using BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI to create visualizations and dashboards.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA, Master's degree, or advanced degree in a technical or scientific field of study.
  • Experience supporting data-driven sales operations, consulting, or program management and strategic cross-functional BI initiatives in a cloud business.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Go, JavaScript, or HTML for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
  • Experience working with systems for collaborative code reviews including version control.
  • Experience developing AI agents.
  • Familiarity with statistical modeling, machine learning, or data mining techniques.
