Business Development Representative

We are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our expanding Sales & Marketing Team. Key responsibilities include qualification of inbound phone, web and email inquiries, following-up on marketing campaign responders and driving recruitment for corporate and regional marketing events within your assigned geography, and cold prospecting. The position will require a high degree of self-motivation, organisation, and analytical intelligence.

A successful BDR will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and a dedication to learning as much as you can about supply chain software by building your business acumen and being able to articulate the value proposition and return on investment that our potential clients experience leveraging Korber technology.  There is a defined growth path for successful BDR to be promoted into our quota-carrying, Account Management role and many team members advance into challenging roles ranging from Field Sales to Product Marketing and Field Marketing etc.
 
Your Impact:

- Create a positive first impression with our prospects and customers by providing them with a world class experience
- Complete initial qualification of potential sales opportunities for approval and assignment to a Territory Manager by C-Level and Leadership Team.
- Maintain a sense of urgency and rapid response cadence in following up on all inquiries and marketing leads
- Conduct high level conversations with senior executives in prospect accounts
- Partner with Sales and Marketing on events and lead generation
- Assist with researching trends in your defined region and identifying new prospects
- Actively participate in and contribute to team learning opportunities and your own personal development
- Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e. adding contacts, sending emails, strategic calling)
 
Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited University is required or equivalent
- High ethical and moral standards.
- Strong desire to be in technology sales
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Time Management- Ability to prioritise and execute to plan
- Strong problem-solving skills. “You have a gift for abstract thought”

- Ability to meet and exceed achievable targets
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Motivation, drive and a self-starting attitude
- English proficiency 

Preferred Qualifications: 
-Prior inside sales experience is a plus
- Min 1+ years of corporate tele-sales experience, field sales, software sales is a plus
- Experience in Retail, Wholesale, Manufacturing, or Transportation industries a big plus.
- Experience and Knowledge of Supply Chain Solutions (WMS, TMS, ERPs etc) a big plus.
- Motivation, drive, self-starting attitude, Team Player, and a lot of self-awareness
- CRM Experience (Salesforce, MS CRM etc)

- Prospecting Tools Experience (Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, 6sense, LinkedIn)
- Working knowledge of how to use key business applications (Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Teams, etc)
