BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Apply to this jobAs the foundation of the sales/marketing team, you'll be responsible for managing all of STAND DESK’s inbound and outbound lead generation. This includes prospecting, nurturing, and most important of all — selling. You'll work closely with marketing to help manage lead lists, re-marketing campaigns, and more. As a true business consultant, you'll have to learn the ins and outs of the office furniture industry, ergonomics, and e-commerce. After a year or less, you'll be given the opportunity to build your own team.
- Generate, develop and close new “direct sales or distribution” business (ie. affiliate, B2B, dropship, white label, etc.)
- Smash quotas and continually raise the bar
- Design, optimize, and evolve the STAND DESK sales processes
- Come up with creative initiatives that will make a difference in your lead generation efforts, test them out, measure, scale or kill; then repeat
- Deals, Deals, Deals – You have tons of experience negotiating ultra-fast sweetheart deals that manage long-term risk, while making it look easy
- Own the pitch, objections and competitive intel for your teams as the marketplace changes
- Understand changing business needs months ahead of the team and have the gravitas and skill to lead through this change with precision and confidence
- Minimum 2 years experience in sales/marketing and closing deals
- Adept at MS office, Google Apps, and CRM tools like Infusionsoft
- Eloquent and concise with words, and exceptional writing skills
- Outgoing, engaging, egoless, and eternal optimist that brings enthusiasm and a can-do attitude to work each and every day
- Ability to deliver on multiple projects with a high attention to detail
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
