About the role 

 

As Business Development Coordinator, you'll support the Premium Experiences team in delivering exceptional hospitality and guest experiences across the Australian Open portfolio. You'll provide sales and administrative support, manage client enquiries and bookings, maintain key systems and reporting, and assist with event delivery. 

This is a full-time fixed-term contract role until September 2027.  

 

In this role you will be responsible for: 

  • Managing sales enquiries, bookings, payments and lead allocation to deliver an outstanding customer experience 
  • Maintaining CRM data, reporting and invoicing processes to support business performance 
  • Building and nurturing relationships with existing and prospective clients 
  • Preparing proposals, contracts and account servicing activities for Premium Experiences customers 
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of Premium Experiences products and major client accounts during the Australian Open 

 

About you 

To be successful in this role you will have:  

  • Proven experience in sales support, administration, account coordination and/or events 
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills 
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service 
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check 
  • Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
