Position Summary :
The Techno-Functional Business Analyst bridges business requirements with technical
implementation by combining business analysis expertise with hands-on technical
knowledge. The role is responsible for requirements gathering, user story creation,
product backlog management, functional application support, production issue
analysis, SQL querying, API integration analysis, debugging, system configuration, and
end-user enablement.
The ideal candidate can effectively communicate with business stakeholders while
also collaborating with developers, architects, DBAs, QA teams, and DevOps engineers
to troubleshoot issues, validate solutions, and ensure successful application delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
Application Analysis & Troubleshooting
Analyze functional and technical issues across enterprise applications.
Perform root cause analysis for production incidents.
Debug application issues by reviewing logs, SQL queries, API responses, and application
configurations.
Collaborate with development teams to identify defects and validate fixes.
Support production deployments and post-release validation.
Review system behavior and recommend functional or technical improvements.
Work closely with infrastructure and support teams to resolve performance-related issues.
Technical Debugging
Investigate application logs and error messages.
Analyze API payloads using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
Debug integration failures between enterprise systems.
Support issue resolution by reviewing stack traces and exception logs.
Perform functional validation after code fixes.
Reproduce defects and document steps for development teams.
Validate configuration changes before deployment
Business & Functional Analysis
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for enterprise data and analytics
initiatives.
Conduct workshops with business users to understand reporting and operational needs.
Convert business requirements into functional specifications and technical data
requirements.
Define KPIs, metrics, dimensions, hierarchies, and business rules.
Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Create process flows and data flow diagram.
Participate in release planning.
User Support & Continuous Improvement
Provide advanced functional support in collaboration with IT and support teams.
Capture and analyse user feedback to inform ongoing product enhancements.
Monitor system performance and usage trends to drive continuous improvement.
Required Technical Skills
Programming Knowledge
The candidate is not expected to be a full-time developer but should be able to
understand, review, and troubleshoot application code written in languages such as

5–8 years of experience in Techno Functional Analysis
Experience supporting CRM, ERP, Finance, or Property Management applications.
Exposure to enterprise integration platforms and middleware.
Experience working with microservices and cloud-based applications.
Familiarity with authentication technologies such as SSO, OAuth, and Active
Directory.
Experience in ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Technical & Functional Knowledge
CRM configuration (objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, dashboards).
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release coordination.
Familiarity with integrations and enterprise data platforms is an advantage.
Key Competencies
