Business Analyst

Maxar has an immediate need for a Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will use your core competencies to identify business needs and align them with our project strategy. You will also leverage your communication skills to inform the Project Team of client needs, develop strategies with Product Owners to support product delivery, and integrate requirements into workflows to ensure timely delivery. A key part of your responsibility will be to deconstruct existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) into their component rules for inclusion in a digital Rules Enforcement Framework.

You'll be part of a team transforming how the intelligence community processes critical data. Your work will provide analysts with optimized data to evaluate and integrate Foundational Military Intelligence (FMI), empowering U.S. warfighters and national security policymakers to make more effective, proactive decisions. As a Business Analyst, you will interface directly with Intelligence analysts to understand their data needs and workflows. You will then generate user stories that capture these requirements and communicate them clearly to our technical teams.

This project involves working up to 50% on-site at a client SCIF and 50% remote/work-from-home.

● The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $118,000.00 - $196,000.00 annually.

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
