About the role

As part of reecetech, you’ll join a team that handles everything from Product Management and Engineering to Data and AI.  Within reecetech, we’ve built a world-class product and design culture.  You’ll be crafting next generation digital tools that solve real customers problems and support our people to work more effectively.

As a valued member of our Product Management Team, the Business Analyst role is a crucial position which works closely with our engineering practice to build unrivalled products, services and enhancements for our customers and consumers.

As part of multidisciplinary delivery teams, you will:

• Acquire a deep & thorough understanding of the Reece Business process & system for each project that is undertaken 
• Take ownership of the business requirements, and facilitate the understanding of requirements from Product Manager through to the engineering team and other project stakeholders 
• Create user stories, and contribute to the systems architecture & design
• Bring a strong commercial acumen to defining the 'how' from a functional user perspective 
• Spend time in our branches observing our staff, our customers, and understanding how our branches work (all new starters will spend time serving customers in-branch as part of induction) 
• Help evolve business analysis methods and disciplines in line with Reece’s changing data landscape across business systems and applications

About you

• Experience in a similar role as a Business Analyst role
• Ability to elicit requirements and document them (business, technical, functional and non-functional requirements)
• Ability to organise and deliver presentations that effectively inform an audience, using current technologies and media formats
• Actively seek and share information, encourage discussion and timely communication using various communication methods to ensure a common understanding amongst your colleagues
• You bring a strong commercial acumen to defining the 'how' from a functional user perspective 
• You are passionate about creating amazing products that create great customer experiences and fulfil our customers’ needs
• Approach problems calmly and methodically, involving others as appropriate, obtaining information, and acting decisively
• Strong knowledge, application and leadership of Agile Software Development Methodology
• You are curious, with an eagerness to learn new skills
