My client, a defence consultancy based in Bristol, are looking for a Business Analyst to join their team.

This company is looking for a person who is business focused but also has a good idea of data and how to create reports through means of querying databases, combining data sets, building models and scorecards, Interpreting data and presentations.

The main skills they are prioritising are;

• Experience in the analysis of management information, data analysis, and performance measurements.
• Compare analyses against service standards and best practices, identify opportunities for improvement, and identify cause-and-effect relationships between variables.
• Experience in evaluating current processes, identify best practices, develop plans to reach goals and implement improvements.
• Experience of creating and delivering narratives for all levels of understanding to a variety of stakeholders.

The responsibilities for the roles are;

• Produce, collate and submit all contractual MI within SLA deadlines, daily, weekly, monthly, Quarterly and Annually.
• Track Ad-hoc requests and identify the root cause for enquiries.
• Supporting the Business Intelligence team when needed.
• Quality check work of peers in a team to ensure accuracy and quality of reporting
