Job description
Imagen is seeking a full-time, board-certified Breast Imager to build and lead our breast imaging program for a leading multi-specialty outpatient group in Wilmington, NC. This role is ideal for a radiologist who wants to be the cornerstone of a growing breast service line and help define clinical standards, workflows, and culture.

You will practice comprehensive breast imaging in a modern, non-hospital setting, supported by a collaborative clinical team, advanced technology, and Imagen’s physician-led radiology group.

Your Day-to-Day
  • Interpret screening and diagnostic mammograms
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic breast ultrasounds
  • Champion quality initiatives and workflow optimization across the imaging team

What You Bring
  • Board-certified (ABR or AOBR); fellowship training in Breast Imaging preferred but not required.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for building and expanding a growing onsite breast imaging program
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Active North Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain one)
  • Desire to be part of a patient-facing, team-oriented outpatient environment

Top performing Imagen radiologists can expect to earn up to $800,000 / year. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as productivity, qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
