Position Overview:

Lead breast surgical services in a collaborative multi-specialty practice. Provide expert oncologic and reconstructive surgical care while utilizing eClinicalWorks EMR to drive patient-centered outcomes in a diverse urban community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform breast-conserving and reconstructive surgeries
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for cancer patients
  • Collaborate with oncology, radiology, and primary care teams
  • Document care via eClinicalWorks EMR
  • Mentor surgical residents and fellows (if applicable)

Requirements

  • Education: MD/DO from an accredited institution
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • State medical license (or eligible for licensure).
    • Board-eligible or board-certified in General Surgery (American Board of Surgery).
  • Experience: Breast Surgical Oncology fellowship training strongly preferred, or equivalent expertise
  • Technical Skills:
    • eClinicalWorks EMR proficiency
    • Advanced breast surgery procedures
  • Soft Skills:
    • Multidisciplinary team leadership
    • Patient advocacy
