Job description

We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Analyst to focuses on the overall operations to support MS Taiwan business. Core functions includes client on-boarding & static data maintenance, trade booking, clearing & settlement, regulatory reporting, reconciliations, change the bank.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships, driving strategic automation solutions by embracing a transformation mindset and challenging the status quo.

This is an Analyst within Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.

What you’ll do
As part of the Branch Operations Asia, the Analyst in Operations Taiwan is expected for responsibilities set out below
- Adhere to Team's procedure manuals, work independently to ensure smooth operations and perform careful verification checks to ensure quality delivery for assigned coverage
- Develop product and process knowledge relating to daily responsibilities and meet deadlines
- Be proactive speaking up for concerns/suggestions, ask appropriate questions, challenge status quo and escalate timely
- Collaborate with business units, offshore functional silos also other divisions to deliver satisfactory business results
- Show respect in workplace and work with internal/external stakeholders/contacts in a professional manner
- Continue to take on ad-hoc tasks, job rotations and additional responsibilities over time, as opportunities and benefits are identified
- Embrace challenges in changing environment and continuously look for system and business process improvements - Obtain relevant licenses and timely complete pre-job training and ongoing on-job training to maintain the registration
- Be proactive, self-motivated and performance-driven with proven ability to take on challenges and navigate for deliveries
- Be open-minded to give and take feedback and demonstrates accountability for actions and errors
- Good interpersonal skills to build cross-divisional relationships; gain support and respect from key stakeholders (e.g. Operations, Business Unit, Legal & Compliance)

What you’ll bring:

- Good communication skills to effectively communicates key points and adapt communication to audience requirements to optimize understanding
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail when performing day-to-day and analyzing or interpreting data
- Demonstrate strong risk management and control mindset with proven ability to identify and escalate issues to managers
- Ability to work either on their own initiative as well as be a solid team player with strong problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible to changing priorities and demonstrate good organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft software (e.g. excel, word, power points)
- Great plus if any experience for productivity tools (e.g. UiPath, Alteryx, PowerBI)

- At least 0-2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
