Job description
Manage the risks inherent to the purchase of cocoa and sustainability activities, protecting the value , finding opportunities to add value, developing a team to carry out their activities efficiently, and finding synergies that provide greater profitability to the company
Risk Management - Operational (Credit, Counterparty, Regulatory, Stock, Quality, Fidelity Risk) and Trading risk, Compliance with local legislation
Market intelligence - information on crop flow, crop pattern, quality impact, weather impact, pricing decisions, and lost business information.
Create a budget and monitor the assertiveness of cost planning throughout the crop
Support the PCH / trading team in trading and positional decisions by providing adequate and timely market information (pricing, competitor activity, crop data)
Procurement Operations - Planning, strategy, Crop Supply, and client demand-based procurement planning and opportunities to add value
Implement security measures to safeguard warehouse assets (access control, surveillance, and loss prevention)
Manage all day-to-day activity (incl. procurement, processing, quality, and logistics) (and warehousing)
Prevent stockouts
Monitor KPIs and identify & implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce errors.
