Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Cortica is growing and seeking a passionate BCBA to join our team in brand new location in Tempe! This is an exciting opportunity to be the first BCBA and a part of a founding team.

Position Overview

This work is meaningful and complex. Our roles are thoughtfully designed to support sustainable, ethical practice.

Based primarily out of our Warren clinic, with approximately 70-80% of your caseload delivered in-clinic and 20-30% in-home/via telehealth to surrounding communities (roughly a 30–45 minute commute).

Schedule: primarily daytime hours, with 1–2 evenings per week extending to 6:30–7:00 PM; other days typically wrap up around 5:00 PM. Our goal is to keep a balanced caseload for all our new BCBAs, so we balance daytime and evening clients accordingly — this is what you can expect from your schedule.

Clinical & Administrative Support

  • Hybrid flexibility for supervision (when appropriate) & administrative tasks
  • Clinical Supervisors for case consultation and guidance
  • Transdisciplinary partners for collaboration across specialties
  • Manageable, individualized  caseloads 
  • Care Coordinators for scheduling and day-to-day logistics
  • BT Managers for performance and operational support
  • BT Trainers who lead 3-week orientation and support BCAT testing

Learning & Advancement

  • Internal CEUs and virtual trainings
  • Clinical Rounds and company-wide All Brains, ABA, Developmental Therapies, and Medical meetings
  • Clinical ladder with progression from BCBA I–IV
  • Growth into leadership, training, consultative, and operational roles

Compensation  

  • Base Salary: $95,000 and $105,000
  • Dual Bonus Program: $61 to $76 for each additional billable hour + up to 10% of monthly salary based on ABA direct service hours, averaging between $5,000 - $10,000+ annually (uncapped)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in human services or a related field required
  • BCBA (Board-Certified Behavior Analyst) certification required
  • LBA (Licensed Behavior Analyst) certification required
