The Bioprocess Development Leader is responsible for driving customer process development workflow optimization by leveraging Cytiva USP/DSP consumables technologies and / or FastTrak™ Process Development services (PDS). 

 

This position reports to the Regional Clinical Workflow Leader and will be working remotely to cover Germany.

 

What you will do: 

  • Identify, qualify and develop new workflow and PDS opportunities within assigned territories through active prospecting

  • Deeply understand customer strategies, challenges, and operational processes. Acting as a Process Development Consultant both internally and externally  

  • Define and coordinate Workflow Strategic Action Plans

  • Support tender, proposal, and negotiation processes with workflow and value-based input

  • Collaborate with Account Managers (AM), Sales Specialists (SS), and Field Application Specialists (FAS) for technical support to meet customer and process development requirements. 

  • Represent Cytiva process development capabilities at conferences & events

  • Provide feedback to commercial teams on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and new opportunities to enhance value by expanding the company’s offerings

 

Who you are:

  • MS or PhD in biology/biotechnology/biochemistry or equivalent

  • Strong commercial/applications experience, preferably in the Biotechnology industry.

  • Experience in USP/DSP Process Development

  • Commercial experience in biotech, biopharma or related technical area

  • Good communicator, comfortable in cross-functional/matrix environments

 

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel – 50% within Germany

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
