BIM Modeler (Architectural & Structural) - Revit

Job Description

Position Summary

• Responsible for developing, maintaining, and coordinating Building Information Models in accordance with ISO19650 and project requirements, BIM execution plans, and applicable standards.
• Supports design coordination, construction, and coordination activities by producing accurate, data-rich 3D models and drawings that reflect approved designs, construction methodologies, and site conditions.
• Works closely with Technical Manager and draftsmen to ensure model accuracy, coordination across disciplines, and effective use of BIM for clash detection, visualization, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed BIM models (architectural, structural) in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and BIM standards.
• Prepare coordinated 3D models, construction drawings, shop drawings, and schedules derived from BIM models.
• Ensure BIM models comply with the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP), level of development (LOD) requirements, and client standards.
• Coordinate BIM models with multidisciplinary teams to identify and resolve clashes and design inconsistencies.
• Participate in clash detection and coordination meetings, providing technical input and implementing agreed resolutions.
• Update BIM models based on design changes, RFIs, review comments, and site conditions.
• Maintain proper model structure, naming conventions, worksets, and version control.
• Support quantity take-offs, simulations, and visualizations as required by the project.
• Prepare accurate as-built BIM models reflecting final installed conditions.
• Coordinate with project team to ensure constructability and alignment between models and field execution.
• Assist the Technical Manager with BIM-related reports, submissions, and coordination activities.
• Ensure timely delivery of BIM outputs in line with project schedules and milestones.
• Maintain organized BIM files and documentation in accordance with project and contract requirements.
• Follow quality assurance procedures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of BIM models and outputs.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Engineering Technology.

Job-Specific Skills / Abilities

• Architectural, Structural Design & MEP co-ordination related skills.
• Software skills: Auto-cad, BIM Revit – ACC, Microsoft Word, Excel.

Experience

• Minimum 4 years’ experience.
