BIM Coordinator (MEP)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the production, coordination, and maintenance of detailed 3D BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems using Autodesk Revit, ensuring full integration across architectural and structural disciplines.

• Support MEP engineers in developing accurate and coordinated models, including HVAC ductwork, chilled water piping, plumbing layouts, cable trays, conduits, electrical equipment, lighting, and fire protection systems.

• Generate project-specific outputs such as load schedules, single-line diagrams (SLDs), riser diagrams, panel schedules, and annotated views from the coordinated models.

• Ensure all BIM deliverables comply with project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Surbana Jurong’s BIM standards, and internationally recognized frameworks such as ISO 19650.

• Lead and participate in clash detection and resolution activities using Navisworks Manage, collaborating closely across teams to resolve spatial and design conflicts.

• Manage and contribute to the preparation of construction drawings, coordination documentation, and model data sets through BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

• Drive modeling efficiency and consistency through the development and management of Revit families, BIM content libraries, templates, and automation tools.

• Conduct thorough QA/QC checks to ensure models and extracted drawings are accurate, coordinated, constructible, and aligned with project requirements at each stage of delivery.

Requirements:

• Education Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• Relevant Experience Minimum: 3 – 5 years of drafting experience in Mechanical and/or Electrical building services in consultancy firm.

• Professional Knowledge/ Skills: Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit software Have a good understand of Building Information Modelling (BIM)
