The BI Analyst supports the development and maintenance of business intelligence solutions by transforming ERP and operational data into accurate, well‑structured reports, dashboards, and curated datasets. Delivers reliable insights using Power BI, SQL, and cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory, within established standards and architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards based on defined business requirements and specifications.
- Create and enhance Power BI semantic models in alignment with established standards, governance, and architectural direction.
- Write and maintain SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from ERP and operational systems.
- Contribute to and support data pipelines and data preparation processes using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory, within established data platform frameworks and delivery processes.
- Work with curated datasets and lakehouse or warehouse structures to support reporting and analytics use cases.
- Validate data accuracy and assist with reconciliation between source systems and BI outputs.
- Collaborate with business users to understand reporting needs and clarify requirements within defined reporting and analytics frameworks.
- Assist in troubleshooting data refresh, performance, and data quality issues across BI and data platform components.
- Contribute to documentation of reports, data models, datasets, and metric definitions in accordance with team standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve or automate recurring reporting and data preparation tasks and submit enhancement proposals through defined review processes.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, or data analytics roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling fundamentals.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL for querying and transforming data.
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory, including contributing to data pipelines, datasets, or data preparation workflows within established data platform frameworks.
- Experience working with ERP or transactional data sources is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment with clear ownership and defined delivery processes.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs
