As a Benefits Specialist, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs, including health and welfare plans, paid time off, retirement plans, and leave of absence coordination. What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for benefit-related inquiries and provide exceptional support to employees across the health system.

  • Administer benefit programs such as tuition reimbursement, extended time bank (ETB) programs, and retirement plans in alignment with policy and compliance standards.

  • Partner with HR team members, vendors, and payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of enrollments, terminations, changes, and leave-related timekeeping.

  • Monitor benefit usage trends, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and assist in benefit communications to promote employee engagement and awareness.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education/experience.

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in employee benefits required; healthcare experience preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and mail merge functions; strong data analysis and tracking capabilities.

  • Knowledge of benefit compliance regulations (FMLA, ERISA, HIPAA, etc.) is a plus.

  • Organized, approachable, and detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • A team player who demonstrates integrity, empathy, and a drive for continuous improvement.

Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)

Schedule:

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
