Key responsibilities

• Greeting guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor
• Offering assistance and providing information about the hotel's facilities and services
• Assisting guests with the transportation of luggage to and from their rooms
• Safely handling and transporting guest belongings with care
• Assisting guests with parking and retrieving their vehicles
• Escorting guests to their rooms and explaining the features of the room and hotel
• Offering assistance with directions and local information
• Monitoring and ensuring the security of the lobby and entrance
• Collaborating with the front desk and other departments to provide seamless service

What you bring

• Fluent in English & Italian is a must
• 2+ years of hospitality experience
• Collaborative and communicates well and accomplish tasks at efficiently
• Must be a natural host and passionate about the hospitality industry in general
• Strong communication and management skills. Communicate with hosts and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner 
• Must be able to prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
• Flexible schedule - long hours and regular evening event coverage is common
• Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests
• Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality of guests, employees, and information
• Handles multiple tasks simultaneously, such as assisting guests, managing luggage, and providing information
• Maintains regular attendance in compliance with Aethos Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel
• Comply with Aethos Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
• Maximizes efforts towards productivity, identifies problem areas, and assists in implementing solutions
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times, whilst remaining genuine
