Emplify Health by Gundersen Health System is seeking a 1.0 FTE Behavioral Health Specialist for our Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program. The Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program is a structured outpatient mental health treatment designed for adolescents who need more intensive care than traditional outpatient therapy can provide, but do not require full-time inpatient hospitalization.

What you will work:  

  • This position is full-time (40 hours/week) working primarily day shifts Monday – Friday

  • Location: Onalaska

 

What you will do:   

  • As the Behavioral Specialist in the Adolescent PHP Program, you will work closely with adolescents as you support the team in providing a therapeutic and meaningful learning environment for teens who are struggling.

  • Responsibilities will include: supporting the adolescents throughout the day, helping with scheduling and coordination of programming needs, as well as developing a trusting rapport with the teens.

  • This individual will need to have good time management and communication skills; some experience working with adolescents and has an appreciation for a team approach.

What you will need:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Psychology or Sociology or a related human service field

  • 1 year experience working in human services field or health care setting
