We are currently hiring for our 5* resort Domes Miramare Corfu, The Luxury Collection, an ultimate luxury experience, located in Corfu.

Bartender

The Role:

The Bartender at Domes Resorts is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a professional and efficient manner. The role requires exceptional customer service, a passion for mixology, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The Bartender is key to creating an enjoyable and memorable guest experience through not only excellent drink preparation, but also friendly and personalized service. This position also involves maintaining bar cleanliness, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with all safety and health regulations.

Some of the responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages per recipes and customer preferences, following responsible alcohol service practices and local liquor laws.
  • Greet and welcome guests warmly, anticipate their needs, and handle inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Analyze sales trends and customer feedback to identify popular products and areas for improvement.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, and follow proper opening/closing procedures including reconciliation.
  • Restock supplies, monitor inventory levels, and assist with regular stock counts to manage waste and control costs.
  • Maintain proper stock rotation and organization to prevent spoilage.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene protocols, including safe handling of food, beverages, and equipment, and manage intoxicated guests responsibly.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and F&B staff for smooth, efficient service, and assist in training new team members.
  • Maintain clear communication with the bar team and other departments to address guest needs.

Requirements

Useful to have:

  • 2 years of previous work experience in a similar position is essential.
  • Customer service knowledge including resolving any problems/complaints.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
  • Very good knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including classic cocktails, modern recipes and preparation techniques.
  • Good knowledge of English and familiarity with computer systems is essential.

What you will bring:

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to build relationships, internal and external, within the F&B department and between the F&B and the rest of the departments.
  • Proactive way of managing and organizing with an eye to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the guests and the F&B team too.
  • Strong operational knowledge with the ability to oversee service execution.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practices.
