Barista-Hyatt Regency Schaumburg

The Hyatt Regency Schaumburg is an upscale hotel located across from the Woodfield Mall and just 15 minutes from O’Hare.

An integral part of the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg’s success will be attributed to this position with a hands-on approach to guest satisfaction and service team stewardship that will dictate first and lasting impressions people have of the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg.

Currently, we are seeking a Barista.

What does the ROLE entail?

• Responsible for assisting guest's food and coffee/beverage orders.
• Strong guest service orientation
• Fast-paced environment with constant customer interaction and cash handling
• Maintaining well organized area and restocking station as needed
• Demonstrates Hyatt's values: Empathy, integrity, respect, inclusion, experimentation, and wellbeing

Your EXPERIENCE:

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Unafraid of food and beverage related tasks and responsibilities, past food & beverage expereince strongly preferred
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to lift and carry 10lbs-20lbs
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and potential holidays
• A fun and energized person
• Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
