Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.

 

 

Our state-of-the-art Bread and Bun Plant located in La Crosse produces over 20 varieties of bread and bun products for approximately 800 retail stores. Kwik Trip customers are able to enjoy our multiple bread and bun varieties.

 

Join the warehouse team of our Bread and Bun Plant as a Bakery Order Selector where you will be trained to accurately select and load our Bread and Bun products to be shipped to our retail stores. 

 

Work Schedule:  Sunday through Saturday with rotating days off (7 day, 5 week flip rotation working 8 hour days) working 4:00am to 12:00pm

 

Qualifications:

  • Adhere to sanitation/hygiene standards
  • Basic math aptitude
  • Read/understand/interpret numbers
  • Willing to learn/perform a variety of job tasks
  • Work in a fast paced production environment
  • Work in a noisy environment frequently
  • Work in temperatures of 70-90+ degrees F
  • Work well alone/with others
  • Accurate/detail oriented; work in a safety conscious environment

 

Prior order selector/material handling, power pallet jack, and narrow aisle reach lift experience is a plus but not required.

 

Physical requirements: stand/walk up to 10 hours per shift; bend/reach/twist constantly; kneel/squat occasionally; lift/carry 30 pounds to 82 inches frequently; lift/carry 50 pounds to 60 inches frequently; push/pull up to 87 pounds of force occasionally. 

 

Benefits:

  • Minimum starting rate of pay: $18.75 per hour
  • Weekend Premium Pay: additional $3.00 an hour between the hours of 7:30pm Friday and 5:00am Monday
  • A year end cash bonus - 40% of profits shared with our coworkers
