Back End Necker Mechanic

About the Role

You'll play a vital role in maintaining and improving high-speed can-making equipment. Your work will directly support the production of high-quality metal packaging used by some of the world's most recognized brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on Back End and LSM Necker machinery.
• Conduct daily checks and continuous monitoring of plant and production equipment.
• Support equipment overhauls, height/diameter changes, and mechanical upgrades.
• Assist with installation, trials, and commissioning of new machinery.
• Complete work orders using the Apriso system within agreed timeframes.
• Rebuild unit spares and manage spare parts inventory.
• Provide training and support to team members and cover shifts when required.
• Operate FLT and perform machining tasks (turning, milling, grinding) as needed.
