AWS Software Engineer

We are looking for software engineers who are strong in working with AWS, Jenkins, CDK or Ansible

-with experience on Linux DevOps part, because that is an important aspect of understanding and maintaining the current system before and in parallel with the migration.

Application Platform provides a range of cloud products product teams in the company and our goal is to enable our users to derive maximum value from our products in a self-service manner, operating on a ‘You Build it, You Run it’ model. We provide an integrated AWS platform that hosts over one thousand services on EKS and Serverless environments, serving 1 billion viewer requests daily. We manage CI/CD infrastructure hosted on Jenkins & JFrog which hosts over 90 pipelines. Our product teams monitor and observe their applications using Datadog.

Project:

-For this project we want to help a company, that has joined us, to migrate their existing services to Application Platform to improve developer experience, reliability, scalability, and security. The goal is to have the services running in a new production environment and devise and implement an optimum migration plan with minimal disruption for the product and business.

Ability to create and consume REST APIs

• Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js

• Familiarity with React

• In-depth experience with Docker and networking

• In-depth knowledge of Amazon Web Services and interacting with their services and API, for example knowledge in some but not all: CDK, Lambda, RDS, ALB, OpenSearch, ECS

Skills /must haves:

-working experience AWS (5+yrs), Jenkins, CDK or Ansible

-experience on Linux DevOps part because that is an important aspect of understanding and maintaining the current system before and in parallel with the migration

Nice to have:

-Knowledge in Kubernentes, AWS EKS, and AWS networking,

-Knowledge in Go.
