Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of corporate clients, understanding their financial needs and objectives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, cross-selling UOB's full range of products and services, including corporate lending, trade finance, cash management, and treasury solutions.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis and risk assessments to structure appropriate credit facilities and ensure sound lending decisions.
• Prepare and present credit proposals to internal committees, ensuring compliance with UOB's credit policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor client portfolios, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks, and ensuring timely repayment of facilities.
• Collaborate with product specialists and internal stakeholders to deliver tailored financial solutions and exceptional client service.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify new business opportunities and inform client strategies.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and profitability of UOB China Ltd.
• Represent UOB China Ltd at industry events and client functions to enhance brand visibility and network.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate banking or relationship management, preferably with a focus on large corporates or multinational corporations in China.
• Proven track record of success in acquiring and managing corporate client relationships and achieving sales targets.
• Strong understanding of corporate lending products, trade finance, cash management, and treasury solutions.
• Excellent credit analysis and financial modeling skills.
• In-depth knowledge of the Chinese financial market, regulatory environment, and industry trends.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in both English and Mandarin.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a client-centric approach.
