Automation / Performance Tester – WebDriver, Gatling, Cucumber, API

At Difrent Group, we operate at the forefront of digital transformation in government and healthcare and are excited to announce that an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Automation / Performance Testerto join our specialistteam on a contract basis. The successful applicant will be joining one of our high profile digital transformation projectswe have in motion with our client in the public sector. 

As theAutomation / Performance Tester, you will ensure that our entire end product works correctly, i.e. all the systems involved, and their interfaces, conform to requirements prior to release. 

The first phase of the project has been completed, and we are about to start phase two. There is an existing Java based automation framework utilising WebDriver, and a performance testing framework, using Gatling, so candidates will need to be familiar with these technologies.

Candidates will also need to be equipped with solid functional/API /Automation/Performance Testing knowledge to be able to perform well in this role. You will also need experience of working in an Agile environment (Stand Ups, Sprints etc). 

Automation / Performance Tester - Essential Skills

• Selenium/WebdDriver or similar 
• Cucumber or similar 
• Demonstrable knowledge of API structures XML, JSON, or similar 
• Browser developer tools 
• Java
• Scala / Gatling
• GIT 
• Performance Testing
• Agile environment experience

Automation / Performance Tester - Desirable Skills 

• Understanding of CI server Jenkins, TeamCity, Travis or similar
• Unit Testing
• Python
• .NET
• SharePoint

This will be 3 days per week onsite and remote working for 2 days per week

Rate: £400 - £450 per day (outside IR35)
