Automation Engineer

Job Description:

Job Title: Automation Tester/Engineer

Location: San Francisco CA

Duration: 5 Months

Contract to hire position, looking for Citizen, Green card, GC EAD

Required Qualifications:

• Need a strong tester to join client Gateway testing team to test APIs.

• Strong testing experience

• 5+ years of experience with SoapUI

• Able to analyze test results from a technical standpoint and provide detailed analysis to technology team

• Experience with RESTful API testing, in-depth experience and understanding of test automation principles and various frameworks

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to be an outstanding team player

• Heavy experience with automation of Unit, API, and UI Testing (using Selenium).

• Ability to design a test automation framework with tools like JUNIT, Cucumber, RestAssured, etc.

• Hands-on coding experience with Java

• Hands-on experience with using Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence

• Experience working on Agile Scrum teams

• Previous experience working on BDD/TDD environment would be preferred

Additional Details:

• Need candidate who is eligible to hire (Green card or US Citizen). If the candidate does great job in the assignment, client will convert the candidate to full time employee after 3 months
