Auto service advisor

GLOBAL PACIFIC SUPPORT is seeking a dedicated Auto Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing them with exceptional service and support throughout their automotive service experience. Your ability to communicate effectively, understand customer needs, and collaborate with technicians will ensure that operations run smoothly and customer satisfaction remains high.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers upon arrival and determine their service needs by asking insightful questions.
• Provide clear explanations of automotive issues and recommend appropriate services and repairs.
• Schedule service appointments and manage the workflow in the service department.
• Prepare work orders and itemize services with accurate estimates for customer approval.
• Work closely with technicians to ensure high-quality repairs are completed efficiently.
• Keep customers updated on repair status and any changes to service timelines.
• Document all customer interactions, inquiries, and service recommendations accurately.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
• Stay current on automotive technologies and service offerings through continuous education.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Auto Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role in the automotive industry is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Understanding of automotive repair processes and terminology.
• Proficient computer skills for scheduling and maintaining service records.

• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
