Audit & Accounting Intern

A lot of internships leave you on the sidelines, watching other people do the real work. This one doesn't.

A university internship is a real chance to gain hands-on experience in a fast-moving field — and as a member firm of UHY, a global network spanning 100+ countries, UHY Axon Group works with a varied corporate client portfolio and international engagements. As part of our team, you'll take part in real projects, build your skills, and work alongside experienced professionals.

We're building a shortlist of students we'd like to meet for Audit and Accounting internships in Athens. These placements run through your university's ESPA practical training programme (πρακτική άσκηση), so we're reaching out early — before your university opens its internship period — to get to know promising people ahead of time.

What you'll do

If you join us in Audit:

• Help prepare proposals and offers for prospective clients.
• Research and gather primary data.
• Process data and carry out basic technical analysis.
• Support the preparation of reports and deliverables for clients.
• Join internal meetings as well as client meetings.
• Contribute to content such as articles and analyses.

If you join us in Accounting:

• Help record documents and invoices and maintain accounting records.
• Support the reconciliation and preparation of financial statements.
• Process financial data and carry out basic technical analysis.
• Support the preparation of reports and deliverables for clients.
• Join internal meetings as well as client meetings.
• Contribute to content such as articles and analyses.

Either way, you won't be doing this alone, as you'll have a team around you and people whose job it is to teach you!

Requirements

What you'll need

• Eligibility for an internship through your university's ESPA practical training programme (πρακτική άσκηση). This is what makes the placement possible, so it's essential.
• Currently studying Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or similar.
• Native Greek and Good English, written and spoken.
• Reliable, responsible, and good at keeping to deadlines.
• A careful eye and a genuine interest in audit or accounting.

We care more about whether you're curious, careful, and eager to learn than about a long CV. If you've got the eligibility and the willingness to learn and collaborate in a dynamic team, we'd like to hear from you.
