Description -

The Product Solutions Department is looking for an ATE Developer to join its multidisciplinary engineering team.

The ATE team is a unique group of engineers responsible for delivering complex, end-to-end multidisciplinary projects—from initial investigation and requirements definition through design, development, integration, and implementation.

The team serves as a recognized center of expertise in Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) technologies, methodologies, and engineering practices. The role involves developing innovative solutions, leading cross-functional activities, and collaborating with multiple departments and business divisions to support organizational goals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define test requirements and specifications for complex multidisciplinary systems.
  • Lead ATE projects end-to-end, from concept and design through development, integration, validation, and implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, manufacturing plants, procurement, NPI, and internal engineering teams.
  • Develop, integrate, maintain, and improve automated test and control equipment.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, test procedures, electrical schematics, and system specifications.
  • Support equipment deployment, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities in production environments.

Required Qualifications

  • B.Sc. degree or Practical Engineer diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Certified Electrician License or higher.
  • Experience in the development, integration, and maintenance of automated test, control, or industrial equipment.
  • Hands-on experience in PLC programming using Structured Text (ST), in accordance with the IEC 61131-3 standard.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical, control, automation, and motion systems.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Good technical English skills, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with B&R Automation Studio and/or Beckhoff TwinCAT.
  • Experience in electrical control panel design and electrical schematic preparation.
  • Experience with motion-control systems, servo drives, motors, encoders, and industrial PLC systems.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as EtherCAT and POWERLINK.
  • Experience using Git or similar version-control systems.
  • Programming experience in C#, Python, or C++.
  • Experience with Indigo Technology.
