Join us! We are looking for Risk & Regulation consultants for our strategic risk management practice PwC’s Financial Services Risk & Regulation (FSR&R) department shall provide you with the opportunity to embrace technically challenging projects, within the banking industry, allowing you to develop
business solutions targeted at a better organization, measurement and monitoring of the main risks and challenges faced by Banks.


While traditional financial risks continue to be the main focus of regulation for the banking sector, the growing concern for climate, environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks and their impact on the financial performance of financial and non-financial institutions has triggered the attention of supervisory bodies – now more than ever, they are dedicated to providing regulatory guidelines and frameworks for Banks to better manage their ESG risks, guarantee responsible investment and financing to sustainable activities along with those on their transition path. But not only supervisory organizations are recognizing the importance of ESG in the financial sector and their role in the long-term sustainability of the Banking activity; investors and non-financial companies are also increasingly aware of the topic and how Banks should position themselves, which leads them to search for banking institutions well-prepared to guide and support them on their sustainability journey.

Who we are looking for?
A Consultant or Senior Consultant with strong knowledge on the banking business (from internal organization to banking products) and financial instruments (incl. sustainable finance products);
Working knowledge or genuine interest in sustainability and ESG in the banking sector;
Analytical profile, capable of understanding and computing complex problems related with business and product planning, internal organization and efficiency of operations;
Self-motivated, committed and sufficiently independent to manage team and client communication;
Availability to work on a dynamic environment, where the client’s needs drive our project approach.

What we value the most?
Past experiences within the finance and risk management areas (banking, supervisory or consulting/audit);
Genuine interest in sustainability and ESG;
Basic data analytical skills;
Regulatory management experience (i.e., understanding of prudential regulatory framework, experience on implementing/ compliance review of EBA’s requirements, past-experience in leading with supervisory practice & recommendations).
