Asst. Manager NPD

Role Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Procurement Specialist to support our New Product Development (NPD) initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of sourcing and procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing or consumer products environment, and a strong passion for learning and problem-solving.This role requires a self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, work closely with cross-functional teams, and proactively drive supplier engagement to ensure successful and timely product launches.

Roles and Responsibility:

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers capable of meeting cost, quality, innovation, and timeline requirements.

• Collaborate closely with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Branding and Supply Chain teams to support product launch milestones.

• Obtain quotations, conduct commercial evaluations, and negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms.

• Drive supplier development and ensure supplier readiness for new product introductions.

• Track project timelines and proactively mitigate sourcing risks that could impact launch schedules.

• Support material qualification, sample procurement, and testing activities for NPD projects.

• Maintain procurement documentation, supplier data, contracts, and sourcing records.

• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Requirement:

• 3 -5 Yrs of Experience in procurement especially from NPD/ New Product Development

• From graduate of B.E/B.Tech as educational qualification.

• Strong learning agility – eager to learn new categories, technologies, and market dynamics.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• High ownership and accountability.

• Comfortable working in ambiguity and changing project priorities.

• Team player with a collaborative approach.
