Asst. Manager

Major Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for Raw material procurement required for valve production.

·         Timely Release of Purchase Order as per PR received from MRP.

• Make PO’s for API requirements and follow as per API procedure.

·         Responsible for identifying potential sources for raw material vendors.

• Negotiate and finalise prices of new items, price increase/reduction in case

of existing items whenever required.

• Release trial order, procure samples and get approval.
• Ensuring QM lot clearance and relevant feedback to suppliers.

·         Monitor the supplies against schedules for smooth flow of materials to production.

·         Monitor supplier adherence to the schedules and take suitable/alternate

actions if required.

• Periodically review the condition of patterns / dies and initiate action for capital approval.
• Responsible for identification & development of new sources.
• Co-ordinate with foundries for pattern layout.
• Develop patterns and ensure First sample approval.
• Monitor monthly performance thru Supplier delivery rating.

• Identify areas of possible improvement and plan actions to reduce cost / improve quality and delivery.
• Collaborate with the team members to maintain the documents required

for API Spec Q1 manual & procedure.
