Technical Development is looking for a highly motivated associate scientist with a purification background to assist our develop team in developing processes for clinical manufacture of oligonucleotide.

Performs the following:

• The successful candidate will interact with both purification and analytical development departments to evaluate novel purification options including column chromatography, membrane filtration and precipitation.

• The candidate will perform and document their laboratory studies. 


Skills and experience

• Preference will be given to candidates with hands on experience in chromatographic purification development of oligonucleotides.

• Candidates should have proficiency with chromatography systems, including AKTA and HPLC systems.

• This position requires good communication skills, a willingness to work effectively in a highly collaborative environment and have good problem solving skills. 

Education: 

B.S. or M.S. in biochemistry, chemistry, biochemical engineering or related field with 2-6 years of lab experience, preferably in an industrial setting.
